qualified, dynamic and competent professional proven record of academic administration and leadership for appointment as Rector on contract basis for an initial term of three years, extendable subject to performance.
Major Responsibilities:
The Rector, as the academic and administrative head of PIEAS. will provide dynamic leadership in planning,
managing and realization of excellence in education,research and development activities.
Qualiflcation and Experience:Preferably PhD in Engineering or Applied Sciences.More than 20 years of experience in Academic and Research activities with at least 5 years in Higher Education Management role(s).Well versed with the functions and management of an institution of higher learning with an understanding of strategic planning, broad range of research and human resource development.
Not more than one 2nd Division and no 3rd Division is allowed in entire academic career.
Age:
50 to 55 years, which may be relaxed in outstanding in deserving cases. Pay Package:
